The little Bay Vallugola is a wonderful natural bay, located a few kilometres south of Gabicce, including the protected area of the Natural Park of Monte San Bartolo.
A pebble beach and crystal clear water which makes this place like a little paradise.
It is possible to reach the bay through a panoramic route which from Gabicce Monte winds up in Pesaro, amongst the intense fragrance of juniper and pine trees, in a series of rocky ravines.
Known since ancient times, Vallugola had to be well appreciated by the Romans and Greeks, because it represented a safe harbour for ships. By Vallugola Bay we still find some stones that seem archaeological, historical remains, according to the legend of a submerged city. A place full of memory, intriguing and mysterious.
Today, with its unique landscapes, the richness of its environmental heritage, with its legends sunk under the sea, is one of those places worthy of visiting.
